There Is A Fountain

about

I wrote this record as a way of breathing new life into songs I love. My desire was to preserve the original melody and lyrics from these historic songs and present them with new arrangements. The hope is for these songs to be seen with new eyes. To break us out of the monotony that comes with time and to unleash the power of these songs afresh. My musical inspiration for this record came from spending time listening to electronic artists that I love and a desire to keep these songs "small" in production. I wanted to be able to mold everything on my own, free from outside input or expectation. My good friend, Jordan Lucas, plays guitar and sings background vocals on every track. I am incredibly grateful for his friendship and artistry. I could not have done this without his help. My desire was to make something that I love and I hope you love it too. Thanks for listening. - Adam

lyrics

There is a fountain filled with blood
Drawn from Immanuel's veins;
And sinners, plunged beneath that flood,
Lose all their guilty stains:
Lose all their guilty stains,
Lose all their guilty stains;
And sinners, plunged beneath that flood,
Lose all their guilty stains.

The dying thief rejoiced to see
That fountain in his day;
And there may I, though vile as he,
Wash all my sins away:
Wash all my sins away,
Wash all my sins away;
And there may I, though vile as he,
Wash all my sins away.

Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious blood
Shall never lose its pow'r,
Till all the ransomed Church of God
Be saved, to sin no more:
Be saved, to sin no more,
Be saved, to sin no more;
Till all the ransomed Church of God
Be saved to sin no more.

E'er since by faith I saw the stream
Thy flowing wounds supply,
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die:
And shall be till I die,
And shall be till I die;
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die.
